Manufacturing, Fabrication and Assembly
CMC designs and manufactures its own suite of specialized equipment positioning and bearing temperature monitoring products as well as assembles custom control panel and operator panels. We also offer custom design and manufacture ranging from board level electronics through to large scale industrial control panels and operating panels/interfaces.
Many of CMC's manufactured controls products are based on distributed microprocessors and sophisticated electronics. These controllers can be used individually or connected together using industry standard communications protocols such as Profibus, Modbus, and DF1. Our protocol converters support the implementation of communication interfaces to non-standard serial protocols and discrete devices. Our products support both hardwired and wireless communications architectures.
A number of CMC's manufactured controls products are OEM'd to other manufacturers to form part of their own product's controls.
Special Purpose Machine Fabrication and Assembly
CMC also teams with various fabricators to build special purpose machinery. Together these ventures have delivered turnkey solutions for this specialized, single-purpose equipment. This has included custom materials handling machines used in the malting industry and an industry leading line of mobile self-propelled cruise ship passenger gangways used across North America and Europe.
